The essays that follow examine unconventional philosophies and hypotheses on human nature, culture, and society.  Most of these essays will be fully examined in my current nonfiction book project Bad Natured: Why Humans Cannot Behave.  These essays will help to illuminate the realities, as well as the difficulties, of human nature and the resulting cultures that are born of the social creature know as man.  Through severe introspection and the serious contemplation of history, civilization, and social psychology and the like, these essays are offered to help to paint an honest portrait of the human animal.  Many of these essays may cover material that may seem uncomfortable, but the effort here is not to inflame or otherwise stir up emotions for no apparent gain.  Instead these unconventional essays are part of a comprehensive effort to define the human animal such that an open understanding of ourselves can help us to cope with the deluge of problems that plagues man today. Feel free to comment upon these essays,  many of which will serve to challenge the belief systems of even the most open-minded individual.  My only request is that comments, whether for or against the essay content found here, be made without personal attacks or other inappropriate material.  Any and all inappropriate, inflammatory, or otherwise insulting comments will be deleted.  Thank you for your patronage.
